Along with the launch of VIBE Recruiting, we’re also thrilled to announce the launch of our flagship, free-to-use “Score Your Job Ad” tool. What the hell are you talking about, VIBE?

Read along to find out!

What is this tool?

This is a way for an employer to get instant feedback on the accuracy of their job descriptions and get a score based on a hyper-specific algorithm we created.

Our weighted scoring rubric takes into consideration two main components:

  1. The format of your job ad and job description.
  2. Keywords used to attract the correct talent.

Along with a score the algorithm gives the job description, we will also provide a personalized overview of our recommendations to optimize your ad. As well as some tips & tricks to make the entire description more appealing to the right candidates.

Why did we create this tool?

It’s simple, there isn’t an option for this anywhere else. There are so many discrepancies with the application process right now, this will hopefully improve the process for both clients and candidates alike.

As a company, it’s important to be informative about what you’re looking for, but equally if not more important, to show who you are as an organization.

  • What are your values?
  • What do you offer your employees to reflect those values?

As a candidate, it’s important to pay attention what companies are saying about themselves. Go ask 10 people if receiving an irrelevant telemarketer call is a pet-peeve of theirs. It would be a safe bet that all 10 would say “yes.”

The same applies for a candidate applying for a position. Do not spray and pray your resume to every job ad you see. Take your time to fully research the company and position and see if it is relevant to you in some way.

Our goal is that companies using our tool will have a better understanding of how to make their job descriptions clear to job seekers and articulate who they are, what they stand for, and what type of person is relevant to their company.
